I am an aspiring writer, Italophile, home cook, language lover, and wife of a first generation Italian-Canadian.  I also love and feel so at home in Kinsale & Scilly, Ireland.  I think its some of my roots trying to dig into the soil there.

I am very fortunate to have been able to visit my husband’s family in Italy’s Veneto region on a few occasions and have traveled throughout Italy quite extensively. I love giving travel advise (when asked) to help people get the most from their Italian (mostly) itineraries.

I am a girl in transition and a student of life with the world as my classroom.  I love to travel on my stomach, trying regional specialties, and immersing myself in the culture that I am visiting.

I recently lost my Mum to cancer and am on a whole other and very tortuous journey with my grief.  She was my best friend, and all-round compass in my life, so finding my way was has been very hard at times.  I’ve been getting lost A LOT.
