Race with the Rain

December 20, 2011

The wind carried me out on my run today as I chased the last of the blue sky north across the lake.  When I turned around I was met by the ominous sight of wave after wave of black clouds expectant with rain spanning the mountains low over the village.  I only hoped that I had time to run home before they delivered their downpour.

I made it, only hit by one enormous drop, that when it made contact, fairly covered a quarter of my face.
